Damien Senn: Hi Matt, thank you for being willing to share your thoughts about your coaching experience.
Matthew Brown: You're welcome
Damien Senn: First things, first. Tell me a little more about what it was that actually inspired you to set up Animus Potential Consulting?
Matthew Brown: Thanks Damien. I have always had a passion for two things. People and Results!
See, in my opinion they are inextricably connected. In other words, without people you don't get results and you cannot get results without people. Today I find myself in an extremely fortunate position in that I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the greatest minds in this field which includes Dr. Tony Quinn, Dr. Tad James, Roger Hamilton, Andrew Cohen, T. Harv Ecker and other World-Class Goal Achievers.
As I progressed, I started to see incredible results in my own life. It simply got to a point where I had to share my experiences with others, the vehicle for doing so is Animus Potential Consulting.
Damien Senn: What services do you offer to assist people on their transformational journeys?
Matthew Brown: On an individual level, there are a number of options available which include Blueprinting, Mind Transformation and Success Training Programs. These programs are based on a set of life changing philosophies which are then re-enforced with the application of one or more human change and development techniques to ensure that my clients transform their mind to a level where the achievement of their dreams and aspirations becomes a natural and effortless process.
Damien Senn: You mentioned 'human change and development techniques'. Can you explain this a bit further?
Matthew Brown: Yes of course! These are the most advanced techniques available for human change and development and includes Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy, along with customized and practical tools which clients can take away with them and apply in their own life immediately.
Damien Senn: Thanks Matt for the clarification. I see your programs also focus on businesses. What successes have you had in terms of business consulting?
Matthew Brown: Using the Transformational Success System ® and principles I teach in our seminars, incredible results can be achieved in many facets of business. In one case study, 102 business owners were tracked over a period of three years and on average, business turnover increased by 360%. We're currently working with ACR International, one of Irelands leading recruitment companies, by providing training programs to their potential candidates. Damien Senn: What other projects are you currently underway with?
Matthew Brown: Well you may find this interesting. I'm also running programs at a school and university level in two key areas. Firstly, we're doing research into a student's primary representational system (their preferred method of learning) and its relationship to the teaching methodology of teachers and trainers. The outcome of the study may shed considerable light into the teaching methods of teachers and trainers and their inability to maximise a students learning. I'm also about to launch a new product called the 'Graduates Tool Kit' - 10 inner world principles for real world success. It's a product designed to give graduates a helping hand in an already competitive market place.
Damien Senn: Matt, one thing that really impressed me about your approach was the fact that as soon as you were up and running you just started delivering seminars internationally. What sort of impact has your material had on your audiences and how could someone find out more about attending one of your courses?
Matthew Brown: Thanks Damien. The urgency really comes from a knowing that what I have to say to people will change their lives FOREVER! One of my core philosophies is that results count - nothing else - and the results really do speak for themselves. I've been blown away by the overwhelming response from both the participants at my seminars as well as my clients enrolled in the One to One consulting programs. Damien Senn: What will someone attending one of your seminars actually take away from the experience?

Damien Senn: How has having a coach made a difference in your ability to get your business up and running rapidly?
Matthew Brown: It's really allowed me to focus on front-end operations like leading the seminars and marketing the business. Having setup an online business on my own in the past, I know how time consuming it can be dealing with all the vendors that go along with it. Having less of the administration on your plate is a great help!
Damien Senn: What sort of commitment and attitude do you think are necessary for a client to make the most out of a coaching program?
Matthew Brown: You need to be totally committed to your outcome. When the mind is divided it will always result in failure. You should be open to change and willing to learn new things.
Damien Senn: What's the best thing about having your own coach cheering you on to success?
Matthew Brown: There are a few things which spring to mind but I think primarily to have someone to share your ideas with helps to clarify what it is you really want to do, and therfore adds adds a lot of value. Having someone to give you practical and proven advice can never be under estimated. You need to leverage other peoples strengths, and by using my own coach, I managed to use my time much more efficiently by focussing on the areas of the business that I am good at.
Damien Senn: And finally, what advice would you give to someone thinking about hiring a coach to help them get their business up and running?
Matthew Brown: Invaluable! Whenever you embark on a new venture you will encounter new obstacles along the way. Sometimes its handy to be able to hand them over to someone who knows what they are doing and is committed to the same results that you are. I highly recommended it!
